My Brother enjoys the history and thee ancient alien theory. In fact, he talks about the probability of aliens existing so much that I would say personally he is an Ancient Alien theorist. He always says "Interesting subject, there should be more information about our untold and unmentioned history."

A truly amazing series showing drawings of objects and animal only seen from space or high in the air.
And now viewing carvings and jewelry. People named these as flying chariots or flying carpets who had no idea what it was.
And atone cutting and movement today's machinery would find challenging. This does agree with Bibical references.

The footage/cinematography is excellent. Great narration. 'Most' religious people may find the information 'blasphemous'. Presents MANY questions on the origin of man YET doesn't 'directly' answer any. Basically informs people of the "Ancient Alien" Theory and what these people (collectively) study or believe. It also gives perspectives of those who 'oppose' this theory and their perspective(s) as to why they do.
It seems the History Channel has gone into a little more depth with "The Series" addition, although it's simply more of the same stuff. It's shows like these that really make the History Channel one of my favorite shows to monitor. My favorite part of 'Ancient Aliens' is when they disclose 'anomalies' that contradict mainstream science's (as well as some religions) explanation(s) of man's 'biological' origin as well as man's beliefs, customs and even technology.

Flying Fish (in modern times) are found in the Caribbean on Barbados & Trinidad. They are also found in Japan & Taiwan. So, it is not hard to conceive that South Americans traveled to the islands of the Caribbean & came back with tails of the mystical flying fish.

I really can't believe they didn't have anyone disproving these ancient planes theory... My theory & reason for the tail not extending down & the bottoms flat. These piece were for sitting on a table of shelf. Or maybe if hung on the neck the poky bottom would be uncomfortable. Like todays with jewelry.

I have watched the ancient aliens documentary several times on the History Channel so I decided that I would like to own a copy for myself, I ordered the DVD and even though it is called "Ancient Aliens" with the History Channels logo on it, it is not the same video as they run on TV. It is a documentary, it is about ancient aliens but it IS NOT the same one that I had watched several times. And I ordered this long before they came out with the ancient aliens series. So don't think I'm confusing it with one of those. It is a completely lame attempt at being entertaining compared to the correct version.

I have believed for most of my adult life that much information was missing from the Old Testament. I have read all of Zecharia Sitchin's books twice, and the Ancient Alien Theory is the only one that makes sense of the book of Genesis and, dare I say, the entire Bible. This series merges science and religion in a way that makes perfect sense. I believe we are in the dawning of a new age of conscientiousness.

While this show was entertaining and contained some interesting facts, some of the information presented by the interviewees was blatantly not fact-checked. At one point it was claimed that in order to build the Great Pyramid of Giza in 22 years, a stone would need to be placed every 9 seconds. This is outright inaccurate and would suggest that the pyramid contained approximately 35x as many stones as it does. Definitely check this show out, but please don't take it as complete fact.

Ancient Aliens/Chariots Of The Gods combo is my favorite item i've bought. I saw the 2hr Ancient Aliens show and loved it. I'm in the process of reading Chariots Of The Gods and so far it's informative, the evidence in the book, dvd, leads you to an open mind that earth might not be the only enhabited planet, just maybe humans had at one time been visited by aliens, with intelligence!!!! Read the book, watch the dvd, and just think about it.....

I seen shows like this in the 70's and its great to see an updated version of the ancient aliens story.I never personally experienced seing any kind of ufo,but i'm very open minded.

This is a must see! They've made really interesting connections. From 800 ton stones moved across miles, to structures built on mars. If you're a "pyramids were built by aliens" conspirator, this is the show for you.

This documentary puts together a different view upon the basic question, where did we come from? It forms theories about how many of the ancient ruins of our ancestors were created and by whom. Very good arguments are formed for extra terrestrial involvement in the making of the pyramids of Egypt and Central America. Overall, extremely interesting and thought provoking whether you agree with the theories or not.
