Superman comes clean in "Confessions of a Superhero" (2007), a crowd-pleasing documentary that features the men and women who spend their lives working as superheroes on the sidewalks of the legendary Hollywood Boulevard. More than just a primer on how to impersonate Superman, the Hulk, Batman, and Wonder Woman, this is a deeply personal story of the hardships, dreams and triumphs these people endure as they try to achieve a degree of stardom.

Expert Review:
Living in Los Angeles, more than a few times, I've passed the street performers dressed as celebrities and movie characters who spend their days busking on the Walk of Fame. This movie follows four of those people, all of whom play famous superheroes for the tourists. The contrast between the characters they embody, their hopes and dreams, and the reality of their lives makes for a fascinating character study. By Daniel Schindel of ScreenPicks
