Ryan has been an OxyContin addict for four years. After his family intervened on him, Ryan was in and out of treatment for several months before dropping out entirely and moving to Los Angeles. Continuing to struggle with sobriety, Ryan was eventually robbed and beaten while buying heroin on Skid Row, then arrested by the police on outstanding warrants. Ryan was court ordered to a year of treatment with the understanding that if he leaves or is kicked out, he will go to prison. Now back in treatment, Ryan continues to struggle with following the rules and is on the verge of getting kicked out again. Will Ryan finally accept a life in recovery or will he be locked up for three years?
