In Winston-Salem, North Carolina, families have been feuding for generations. Dating back to the days of bootlegging and running moonshine, these families battle every weekend on the "Granddaddy of Racetracks,"� Bowman Gray Stadium. These families fight it out and settle their differences at a hundred miles per hour in front of 15,000 screaming fans. Their lives are consumed by building, maintaining and racing some of the most powerful cars in the world for 16 weeks between April and August. This season, the Miller and Myers families, known by many as the modern day Hatfields and McCoys, continue an ongoing feud and bitter rivalry that has been fueled by decades of hatred and revenge. Tim Brown is on a mission to become the most successful driver in the Stadium's history, and Chris Fleming, the underdog, fights the odds in an attempt to win his first championship.
