I would rather eat my fingers than watch this movie again. If I were a fetus in a womb, and I heard the faint muffles of this dialogue coming from the external world, I would learn very quickly the concepts of loathing, pessimism, and utter lack of hope for the human race I was soon to be a part of. The only redemption for the 90 minutes I wasted watching this train wreck of a film is that I did not, in fact, watch it at christmastime, and therefore was spared the disappointment of having my favorite holiday get ruined right before my crying eyes. It also engrained in me a newfound sense of empathy for prisoners of war. Bottom line, no. No I would not recommend this movie to anyone. Because unlike Lifetime, I don't hate anyone nearly enough to do such a thing.

This is one of my favorite movies to kick back and watch during Christmastime. It's not as sappy as the usual holiday fare. It's a little cheesy, but that's what I love about it: one person who hates Christmas vs. one person who loves it, and they fight it out via their dueling news columns.

I might actually buy this, but it's far better to watch on TV after a long day at work when you want to both unwind and get in the mood for the holidays.
