Proves love conquers all. Goes beyond gender, society's stablished "ignorant" rules. How a family can come together to support one another regardless of personal views. Excellent teaching story. Loved it and would highly recomend it!

We don't choose who we love, and we fall in love with a person, not their gender. Those are the basic messages in this well-written, sensitively acted film. What I most appreciated was the gentle nature of the message--scripted so that you fall in love with the characters and feel their troubles, without being preachy or hitting you over the head with the core message of the film.
I fell in love with this movie six years ago--so happy that it's finally available for purchase!!
