This movie was awesome front start to finish. It's hard to imagine it being based on a true story. I found myself feeling sorry for the daughter the entire way through, but feeling sorry for her mother as well. Her mother seemed so lost. But in the end, she did right by her daughter by sending her back home! This movie was very heart touching!

Based on the true story of Laren Sims, this movie is compelling. With a rich script, fabulous actors, and some originality (though never straying far from the truth), this story comes (back) to life. The audience is actively involved from start to finish, and you can't help but fall in love with the charismatic con artist, while feeling sympathy for Haylei. I was a little hesitant to watch this movie, because I'm not a big fan of most of Lifetime's made for tv films. However, this movie has captured me and takes me by surprise again and again. A must see for anyone who loves a good crime story, or even one about coming-of-age relationships.

i am very touched by this movie. its heart breaking to see a daughter go through all the stuff that her mom put her through but at the same time makes the daughter strong to deal what life put her through. i can relate with my own struggles in my life. i am am a stronger woman because of it.

Simply put, anyone who had any effort in making this movie or even being a real part of this movie, has saved me from a hard fall. The sound-track is just toooo much. I had some trouble finding it, but a friend did and even he said, it wasn't easy. I am blessed all the way around due to this one thing I heard. And it was, 'VOICES CARRY", and they do. I heard it. For this alone, I am a way better person. With my head high and with all due respect, I never landed in jail for this reason.I found this movie flipping though LIFETIME TV, one day late last year waiting for my husband whom never returned.I know my voice follows and it's in a very positive way!
