A child is born to the woman who killed his father in the heart-wrenching documentary "Dear Zachary: A Letter To A Son About His Father" (2008). A doctor is murdered by a crazed ex-girlfriend who flees to Newfoundland, where she is freed of all charges and gives birth to his son. The doctor's parents decide to seek custody as well as justice. Directed by the doctor's friend Kurt Kuenne.

Expert Review:
One of the most emotionally harrowing movies that I have ever seen, fiction or nonfiction. This true crime tale is blistering personal, as director Kurt Kuenne was a close friend of the man whose murder the doc follows. After Andrew Bagby was killed, the prime suspect revealed that she was pregnant with his child, and Andrew's parents subsquently fought both for justice and custody of their grandson, Zachary. The events that followed are infuriating and devastating, and Kuenne captures it all in searing detail. By Daniel Schindel of ScreenPicks
