The Albert Einstein Bobblehead celebrates the beloved German genius. Einstein was a forward thinker who developed the theory of relativity, which generated a revolution in physics. In 1921 he received a Nobel Peace Prize. Einstein became a US citizen in 1940 to avoid death by Adolf Hitler—he came to power in Germany at that time. As a Jew this was a necessary move; his name was on a list of people to be assassinated by the rising government. He saw ahead of time that Germany may be developing the Atom bomb, and encouraged the US to start similar work. This resulted in the Manhattan project. Einstein was an original thinker who also had a creative streak and a sense of humor. He no doubt would have seen the humor behind the Albert Einstein Bobblehead.
