The Saturn IB was an American launch vehicle commissioned by NASA for the Apollo program; it was the first rocket powerful enough to launch the Apollo Command Module or Lunar Lander into orbit. The Saturn 1B first flew on February 26, 1966. The first manned flight was the Apollo 7 mission, launched on October 11, 1968.

In 1973, after the conclusion of the Apollo Program the Saturn 1B was flown on 3 missions to the Skylab space station. The final flight of the Saturn 1B rocket was launched on July 15, 1975 and carried a crew that rendezvoused with the Soviet Soyuz 19.

The relic included with this photograph is an authentic piece of metal from a Saturn 1B first stage rocket fin. Limited Edition of 1000. Certificate of Authenticity included.
