For years, Curtis Thompson terrorized the small farming community of Toulon, Illinois. Though many complained about him and a few filed charges, little was done to stop him. People just learned to avoid him.
AMERICAN JUSTICE® reports that on the night of March 22, 2002, the town's worst fears came true. Thompson shot and killed deputy Adam Streicher when the young officer tried to serve him with a warrant. He then drove Streicher's cruiser around the block and shot and killed two of his neighbors as their 10-year-old daughter looked on. Thompson kept going until the police finally brought down in a gun battle out of the Old West.
THE BULLY OF TOULON speaks with those who were there to learn the inside story of an American tragedy.
