On the morning of April 5, 1995, the bludgeoned bodies of Martha Parmer, 43, and her sister, Linda Harrison, 45, were discovered in their modest one-bedroom home in Pasadena, Texas. An autopsy revealed that Parmer suffered at least eleven blows to her head, while Harrison had lacerations to her brain caused by at least six blows.

AMERICAN JUSTICE® reports that Harrison had called police to her home two days before the murders because of an incident involving her sister's ex-husband, Joe Durrett.
