Willy Wonka? He ain't. Milton Hershey was equally as influential, tho. Chocolate as an everyday thing--thanks, Milt. This is an interesting, tho not fascinating, overview of the founder of Hershey, PA, and Hershey Chocolate. My US history class, 11th grade, enjoyed it and learned a lot about entrepreneurship in that era. They want me to continue showing it to future US history classes. I, also, recommend Modern Marvels "Chocolate"--there's a topic one can get teeth into...

This video about Milton Hershey is great for students. I show it in my marketing classes to talk about how he got started and the products he created. I will also bring in samples of his product to show how common the "hershey kiss" as become, how products change over time. They are amazed how they brought his idea to reality and how everywhere we go people know the name Hershey. Its great supportive materials when talking about products and also entreprenuers. Kids would stay even after the bell to finish watching. Highly recommended.
