What makes a movie great for children?
As a mom, I love children's movies that touch upon various emotions related in childhood as well as depict a carefree and vibrant world that kids can relate to. I love movies that feature a range of emotions and showcase various personalities - including the 'bad guy' - since I believe there are versions of that person in real life and it is great for kids as well as take in a world of wonderment and fun.
All-time favorite kids film:
I'm a child of the 80s and I grew up watching tons of musicals. I really loved Annie, Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music and Mary Poppins!
Movie you quote a lot:
As a mom, I find myself singing (more than quoting) all of my old-favorite Disney movies like Lion King, Cindrella and the Little Mermaid.
Movie character that reminds you of yourself:
I love Dorothy Gale from the Wizard of Oz. I love how she goes on a journey and discovers friends and a lot about her personality - much of which we all do through life.
Movie you wish you could un-see:
I'm really not a fan of scary movies with kids, so I would say Children of the Corn.
