The Civil War's bloodiest battle took place in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and is often considered the turning point of the war. The Battle of Gettysburg was fought from July 1-3, 1863 and was reported in the New York Times on July 6, 1863. The New York Times headlined the battle as "The Splendid Triumph of the Army of the Potomac." The official reproduction of the front page is handsomely displayed in a black wood wall frame. The 16 by 14 inch frame also houses a 1963 Lincoln Cent and Jefferson Nickel honoring the 100 year anniversary, a 2013 Lincoln Cent to mark the 150 year anniversary, the four Lincoln bicentennial pennies celebrating the 200 year anniversary of Lincoln's birth, the 2011 Gettysburg Park Quarter, the 2010 Lincoln Presidential Golden Dollar, the 2011 Grant Presidential Golden Dollar and a mint 3 cent 1948 Commemorative Lincoln Gettysburg Address US Postage Stamp. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
