"Day of Infamy" Autographed Framed Photograph

Sunk by the Japanese in Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, the Arizona is now a national memorial that marks the site where WWII began for the United States.

One of the few who survived the Day of Infamy, Radioman Third Class Glenn Lane was blown off the Arizona’s burning deck. He dog-paddled through the oily water of Battleship Row and climbed aboard the Nevada—which was hit by the second wave of fighter planes.

Black-and-white photograph is hand-signed by Lane, matted and framed in wood under glass. Certificate of authenticity included.

In December of 1941, the code phrase "Tora, Tora, Tora" ("tiger" in Japanese) unleashed one of history's most devastating surprise attacks. But the raid on Pearl Harbor also awakened the "sleeping giant" of the American military, ultimately sealing Japan's fate and deciding the outcome of the most destructive war in history.

Now, go beyond the wartime headlines for a revealing, in-depth exploration of the notorious first strike as experienced by both the Japanese attackers and U.S. forces on the ground. Witness as never before the prelude, onslaught and aftermath of the assault, from Japanese Zero pilots recalling the textbook-perfect execution of their plan, to American servicemen fighting to survive the nightmarish inferno on the ground. With gripping archival combat footage, deeply moving personal accounts and richly detailed historical analysis, PEARL HARBOR is an unprecedented journey back in time to the "day of infamy."

Included in the Pearl Harbor DVD set are the following programs from The History Channel:

  • Tora, Tora, Tora!: The Real Story of Pearl Harbor
  • America's Five Star Heroes: The Pacific Commanders

And the BIOGRAPHY® episode: Admiral Chester Nimitz: Thunder of the Pacific
