One of genre master Alfred Hitchcock's most popular and suspenseful thrillers, "Strangers on a Train" (1951) features Farley Granger as an unhappily married tennis player whose love for another woman gets him mixed up in Robert Walker's creepy, murderous plots. Based on Patricia Highsmith's novel, Laura Elliot and Ruth Roman also star in this twisted mind game that will leave your heart racing faster than the train itself!

Expert Review:
Of film noir’s many chance meetings on trains, this is tops. Clean-cut tennis star Guy (Farley Granger) and loony playboy Bruno (Robert Walker) get to chatting. They both have thorns in their sides, namely Guy’s shrewish wife and Bruno’s father. Bruno suggests they swap murders and shortly after follows through with his end of the bargain. An Alfred Hitchcock gem based on a Patricia Highsmith novel. Cinematographer Robert Burks crafts a visually stunning, shadowy look. By Jacqueline Fitzgerald of Film Noir Blonde
