I thought this documentary gave very accurate descriptions and explainations to the events that happened on 9/11. It showed video footage from the day, computer generated reinactments of what happened and let the people who argued the events tell their story. It was very informative and rebutted the conspiracies in depth.

Ever since the Kennedy Asassination the main stream media has castigated anyone who dares to claim a conspiracy. The main stream media claims that Oswald acted alone, that the CIA didn't traffic in drugs, that the Republicans didn't have Iran hold the hostages until after the elections, that the S&L failures were not orchestrated, that Iraq had WMDs, that Clinton didn't facilitate drug trafficking in Arkansas, that Bobby Kennedy was killed by a lone nut, that Perot was not blocked from election as president, and that anyone who dares to try and do the job that the main stream media has not had the guts to do is a conspiracy nut. How easily they discredit even the most earnest investigative journalist. And now, the History Channel follows the same path, distorting evidence to the contrary regarding the power cabal that runs this country and the conspiracies that it forments in order to maintain its power.

I'm sure a lot of people who believe conspiracy theories have some sort of feeling that they're doing the right thing by trying to reveal the hidden villains of 9/11. After all, who doesn't want justice to be carried out against everyone who is guilty for a massacre? The problem is that these people get convinced that there are more villains than there actually are and they won't stop fighting to reveal those villains because the pursuit of justice satisfies them more than the evidence portrayed from a realistic and rational perspective.

If there really were any conspiracies involved with the terrorist attacks of 9/11 that took place outside of terrorist networks I wouldn't trust the conspiracy believers to be the ones to find them. They are too quick to find the answers they want and that is exactly why this movie was made. Because there were too many people misleading other people based on fear, anger, and quick judgments about misperceived evidence. There were too many people who believed they had truth based on their own bias and poor understanding of the evidence and the actual circumstances. This movie does what those conspiracy believers have not done which is to provide depth into the actual circumstances of 9/11.

A measured, thorough, and well-presented debunking of most of the issues 9/11 conspiracy theorists bring up. Granted, if you're gullible enough to think 9/11 was an inside job in the first place then I doubt anything will change your mind. But if you're interested in reason and going over the facts of these events, this is a good documentary that covers most of that ground. If you have questions about the attacks, this is a good starting point.

This documentary highlights propagandal thinking by malcontents who take an obscure thought & use it for their own demonic purposes. In society, there are always anti-governmental nonconformists who look for every opportunity to malign the actions of our government or do whatever damage they can to a particular group of people. They are really not interested in the topic they're proposing. But, they love to add their voices to the cause to further incite the mob.
There was no one who stated about how militant groups who have a bone to pick with the government watch out for such an event as 9/11, as ammunition to destroy the public's faith in our government. It is true that there are some less than ideal people who work in the government, but on the whole, I think that they do a fairly decent job depending on what they have to deal with.
Fanatical malcontents should never be given any sort of credence to support their cause. Show me any other country in the world that has life better than ours. Yes, it's full of mistakes and can use a little correction in some areas; the on the whole it works. My concern is for the less educated or the less knowledgeable people who could be easily swayed by these people whose only purpose is to subvert the U.S. Gov't so as to support their own agendas...which have nothing to do about the subject they're complaining about.
I was there at 9/11. I know for a fact that everything that happened. I, myself, was a volunteer in the Civil Air Patrol for 25 years, which included training on how to spot crashed aircraft, and what kind of crash it was depending on how the aircraft went down. When I saw the 1st photos of the crash site, I could have told you that it was a deliberate crash, with the aircraft hitting the ground at an enormous break-neck speed.
I already knew that the aircraft had been deliberately crashed at that site. I have taken that particular flight myself when traveling back and forth from CA to PA.
In a program that the history channel showed way back a couple of years after 9/11; it showed how this plan by Al Quida was to make such a blow to the U.S. that it would take out as many people as they could with one strike. That program also showed how many years had gone by since the birth of this horrendous plot up until 9/11 happened as well as how the plot to hit the White House, or even the Capitol Building. Something happened in that flight to prevent the terrorists from completing their objective. If the pilots had been killed, then the passengers aboard the aircraft had to be responsible for fouling up the highjackers plans.
I also saw it when the 2nd plane hit the 2nd Tower. Not the replayed video, but I was watching the TV which were showing events in real time. As the events unfolded on my TV screen, I kept a timetable of when the events started, and was more than surprised when the buildings held up for as long as they did. I do not care about how carefully the Tower buildings had been constructed. The point is, they were hit essentially by multi-ton projectile full of what essentially is rocket fuel. I'm also sure that when the 1st Tower fell, there were sympathetic vibrations that added to the 2nd Tower's fall.
We always think that such impacts are going to happen as they do in the movies. And, history demonstrates over and over again that everytime we humans build something that is considered indestructible, reality proves us wrong. I am a documentary buff. I'm also a retired elementary teacher. I'm a disabled female Vietnam Veteran from the last year of the Vietnam War. I have been housebound since beginning of 2001. Being on public assistance for my living prevents me from going to school. So, in order to keep up with learning, I make document watching about 95% of TV watching. Passive learning is not the most effective way to learn. But, it is still learning. The more I watch the more I learn and improve my own education. The History Channel, History International, Discovery Science, National Geographic, Discovery, The Learning Channel, Discovery Health, The Documentary Channel, and Good Eats with Alton Brown on the Food Network. And I can include documentary shows on HBO and Cinemax. I do not care if I already saw it. I always pick up something up that I missed the first time or the last time it was aired.
And so, from my own experience, and with careful notes I made from that day's events, I know for a fact that imploded demolition of large towering buildings is not the same as buildings that were hit by high speed projectiles in 9/11. I was there in Las Vegas across the street from the Castaways Casino, formerly the Showboat, and how the building was imploded when it was brought down. And, I can say that how the Castaways came down and how the Twin Towers came down were not the same at all.
Are there lies in the government's final report on 9/11? I do not believe that there are out and out lies, but I do believe that there might be data misrepresented or manipulated in someway. Remember how when the earthquake that struck San Francisco in 1906? How afterwards, it was misrepresented as the Big Fire as a way of the prevention of losing prospective investors from the East. Not so much as a big lie, but, a major misrepresentation of facts. Because the President and the high leaders in government know that citizens are very sensitive about being betrayed and lied to. They would be very careful that what was put in the report would be as accurate as it could be. Since the government officials already admitted to "Not connecting the dots", that's as much as an admission of blame as anything else.
They did not sugar-coat how no one wanted to believe that such an act would be done. To the point of kind of putting their heads in the sand when the idea of such an act was presented to them. After all, before 9/11, no one believed that someone could be so evil as to mastermind the destruction of so many people who were simply normal citizens going about their daily business.
This was not said on your program, and should have been said. You showed only one expert to refute each of the conspirators claims. There should have been at least 3 people to refute the claims of each conspirator who was cited in the show.
Please remind people that within mobs, there are always those who not only are not interested in what the mob's complaining about, but; are many times para-militant government hating malcontents who watch out for any and every opportunity to subvert the government, usually because that's the only time that they have the strength in numbers to shout out about how they hate the government. They just like yelling, shouting, and firing up a mob scene because it gives them a thrill to do so.
Not unlike those firebugs who light a building on fire and then call 911, so as to get a thrill from the excitement it causes. Having a specialist say something like that would take a little bit of these mobsters hot air and deflate their balloon a little. Add that to your next showing of this documentary.

I don't think this concretely answers the questions as to whether those were military planes that flew into the Trade Center, the fact that the supposed plane crash into the Pentagon showed no tail damage to the building in the footage we saw after the crash and before the ceiling of the Pentagon collapsed or that an hour or so after Flight 93 was supposed to have crashed in Pennsylvania the same flight 93 is reported by news agency as having landed and being suspected of carrying bombs. To Answer Doc about the plane that crashed, that was Flight 93, and there were news agencies that reported on flight 93 as having landed an hour after that supposed crash. I think it's possible that the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania was one of those that was reported as having crashed either into the Pentagon or one of those that went into the Trade Center, and there was no plane crash into the Pentagon, but instead it was a missile. Either way, I think it's clear we were lied to on several levels and there are still unanswered questions.

This program was extremely well done. It is packed with facts to refute the conspiracy proponents. I watched it two times and plan to show it to others in my home that are still doubting that these events actually took place.
