A 4-disc collection of classic films from the "Fly" trilogy, plus behind-the-scenes bonus footage and other extras. In "The Fly" (1958), David Hedison is a scientist who accidentally transforms himself into a hideous mutant insect. Then, in "Return of the Fly" (1959), Brett Halsey tries to vindicate his father but ends up creating some terrifying experiments of his own. Finally, in "The Curse of the Fly" (1965), Carole Gray marries into the wrong family when she weds a member of the cursed Fly family. Gruesome, insect horror fun for everyone!

Expert Review:
As shocking and gut-churning as David Cronenberg's 1986 remake is, the original 1958 version still has plenty to offer. The tragedy of a scientist slowly losing himself to a botched experiment while his family looks on in horror is ever present and the limited cast leaves you truly feeling for each character. The reveal of the monster near the conclusion strikes with extra impact, largely for keeping the creature out of sight for the bulk of the film. By Mark Pellegrini of Adventures in Poor Taste
