I had been petitioning HBO to get this on DVD since January of 2009. I am so glad they finally got it together; I would have gleefully picked up many copies while in D.C. for the Inauguration. It's also refreshing to see this all anon, as it authentically brings back the elation we all felt being out on the Mall for the Celebration & the Inauguration on the 20th.

I have shown this dvd to friends whom I invited to dinner.
we all rate it five stars. However, we were disappointed that Aretha Franklin was not in the DVD, she is the one artist that is best know among our generation. The hat that she wore was also a fashion statement and we would have liked to have it on tape.

This for me was a great day for Amercia.It finally grew up I know for some it's the worse thing that could possibly happen.I commend H.B.O. for documenting this historical event in your usual first class production.I for one couldn't wait for this too get to dvd.As soon as March 2009 I went to your web site wondering if you would put event out and too my great surprise you did I want too personally Thank You.
