As the mom of two little boys, I thought we were the only family who couldn't wait for the next US Top Gear episode to air every week! We have been fans from day one and after the first season, were hoping that America loved the show as much as we did so it wouldn't get cancelled! We bought the Season One DVD as soon as it came out and enjoy watching the older episodes over and over....America's Toughest Truck is our all-time favorite! The friendship between Tanner, Adam and Rutledge Wood (as our boys only call him by his full name...very funny!) has really blossomed and grown over time and you can tell is very genuine. We have enjoyed the UK version of the show for years as well but the US show is a little different, even better in certain ways. It is a wonderful TV show that is fabulous for the whole family! Counting the days until Season three begins!

You don't have to be a gear head to love this show. I am a mom of two boys and our whole family loves Top Gear USA. There is a great chemistry between the 3 hosts that has been getting better and better each season, although we still love re-watching the episodes from Season 1. These guys are hilarous. Would love to buy more seasons!

My whole family loves this show. We cannot wait for each week to air. We record the shows and watch them over and over again. My son who is 11 loves all the cars and wants to be a race car driver now. Please start selling the 2nd season for the USA version.

my first episode was the US version, i didn't know it was originally a UK show, later on i ended up watching the uk version an i just didnt like it, all they would show were all sorts of mercedes and wasn't very funny, it just felt like watching a typical car show heavily centered on a specific brand of car. The USA version is not only very funny, but show has an incredible amount of variety in the cars and even cars you wouldn't expect them to test or drive like the cop cars. Plus the show features Tanner Foust, a rally cross racer, one of my fav racers apart from Travis Pastrana. US version of the show has everything you would want in a car show. only thing ive got a problem with is the show only last for 1 hour an is only on once a week :/. One highlight of the show was during the 2nd season when tanner test drove the Lexus LFA and adam and rut drove the video game version and trying to get the fastest lap time for tanner to beat in the real LFA, its challenges like that one that you can only see on the US version of Top Gear

I saw a commercial for this show and it look amazing. I had high expectations. And this show more than lived up to its expectations. One of the greatest shows of all time!!

I love both the U.K. and U.S. versions of Top Gear because they give honest opinions and real life examples for modern vehicles (NEVER seems sponsored). Being that I was a U.K. fan first, I am thrilled that the U.S. version is so good.
The chemistry between the three hosts is perfect because they're not equally matched in their opinions or strategies. They are a diverse group of guys not only educating their audience, but entertaining them as well. As a female viewer, I love the rawness of their attitudes mixed with the beautiful shots of both the cars and their surroundings.

Having seen the UK version of Top Gear I honestly would have to say that the show did have some expectations to live up to, namely that the show is overall a great series. But after watching the first couple of episodes, I fell in love. The connection between the three hosts is somewhat dull, but you can tell it gets better between episodes. In season 2, the chemistry is a lot better. I now prefer this to the UK version as this is more Americanized and seems to touch base a lot better than a British version of the show. Sure they don't talk about Alfa Romeos, SEATs, Puegot, then again we don't have those cars here in the states. I don't know 1/2 of the British celebrities that are guest stars on the show, but I am pretty much familiar with almost 100% of the ones on the US show. Tony Hawk, Buzz Aldrin, Pawn Star Hosts, Michelle Rodriguez... I do read about a lot of haters disliking the show, but in all honesty, they should really take the Top Gear US show for what it is, an American take on Top Gear and automobiles in general. Like comparing apples & oranges, sure they're both fruits but they have different tastes.

I have seen the British version and was not a huge fan. I loved the cars but that was it. I tuned into the American version and I was plesently suprised!! The personalities of the hosts coupled with the cars makes this my new "need to watch every week" show!! Well done guys. Keep up the great work!!

I had the benefit of not ever seeing the original UK version. I admit, when I saw the commercials for this show I had very low expectations; I figured it would be lame. My husband was watching it one night when I walked in... and it's been my new favorite show ever since. These guys are hilarious. I can live vicariously through them driving all the high-end cars that I never will, from the safety of my living room and my sad little life, but the best and most unexpected part was the personalities of the hosts! These guys take what one would expect to be a somewhat boring challenge and have you LOL w/their antics and wise-(___) remarks. I find their humor and childish practical jokes played on each other a nice escape from the boredom of responsible parenting. And the cars - SWEET! It is far better entertainment than any of the putrid, contrived 'reality' shows that are on every other channel! The off-season of Top Gear is like the off-season of NFL - boring, sad, and long. I've now seen all of season 1 and the first 4 episodes of season 2. I can't imagine what else they can come up with to be interesting or that they haven't already done, but I do know that at the very least, it will be funny. Top Gear ROCKS!

i really enjoyed the first season but A LOT of people seem to hate it. on the other hand i have seen a good amount of people that do like it and that group is growing. the show made me laugh throughout and the reviews were entertaining and informative. there were 1 or 2 jokes that were kinda of stale but there are stale jokes here and there in top gear uk, so its nothing to complain about. keep in mind that this is just the first season and its not going to be perfect. the host said themselves that they are NOT trying to be top gear uk they are just giving their own spin on it, weather you like the style or not is your opinion. if you don't like it then just give it time, it will get better. i recomend that if you never watched it to definitely watch a clip or two before you decide to purchase season one. i will tell you that i will be buying season one for sure.
