A cult classic from the night of its premiere, this made-for-TV horror anthology, directed by "Dark Shadows" creator Dan Curtis and written by acclaimed novelist-screenwriter Richard Matheson, stars Karen Black in multiple roles. In "Julie", Black plays a college professor who is preyed upon by an obsessed male student. "Millicent and Therese" finds Black taking on a dual role as sisters whose only common trait is their unconditional hatred for one another. Finally, the mini-masterpiece "Amelia" is a nightmarish tale of a woman trapped alone in her apartment with a homicidal doll come to life.

Expert Review:
While the first two segments of this made-for-TV anthology film are more tedious than terrifying, it's the third and final story, "Prey", that elevates this film to a higher tier. Richard Matheson's short story about a Zuni fetish doll brought to life and on the hunt in a small apartment is adapted with a sense of action and fright that the first two segments conspicuously lacked. A little goofy? Sure. But you'll never forget it. By Mark Pellegrini of Adventures in Poor Taste
