Fourteen remaining marksmen face an old challenge with a new twist. Players must pick a rival to shoot against in a head to head, high-speed showdown featuring the Sig Sauer P229. We examine this monumental undertaking known simply as occupation. In war, certain missions demand the most and constitute much of the legends of bravery. Journey back to the Second World War when fearless airmen manned the B-17's belly guns--glass bubbles that at any moment could become their coffin. The ball turret gunners called their work "flying the ball", others called it crazy!

This is the remarkable story of the tiny U.S. fleet that staged the greatest upset victory in the history of naval warfare. Facing sure destruction off the Philippines at the hands of a massive Japanese fleet that included the most powerful battleship ever built, the Yamato, seven overmatched U.S. destroyers and destroyer escorts (or "tin cans" in Navy speak) charged the Japanese head-on. In the Battle off Samar, a steel shattering two-hour daylight surface engagement, the last ever fought, the task unit known as "Taffy 3" saved General Douglas MacArthur's invasion force and, at a cost of five stout ships and 850 sailors, etched its name in U.S. Navy legend.

The Civil War is thought of as a conflict between North and South. But the West figured into it, too. There were more than 2,000 battles west of the Mississippi River--action stretched clear to the California coast. The rugged, wide-open West presented special challenges for armies. Soldiers had to be hearty--able to maneuver themselves and equipment through ice, snow, and mountain passes. They often improvised with whatever they had. Shovels and belts proved especially useful. Then there were the arid plains, which required armies to adapt in different ways. Men had to cover great distances in order to get food, arms, and other supplies. We'll take a look at the weapons, clothing, transportation, and tools employed on the Civil War's Western Front. Host: David Carradine.

In 1943, a B-25 Mitchell, WWII's most versatile twin-engine bomber, crash-landed in South Carolina. It sank 150 feet to the bottom of a lake and over time was forgotten. Now, 60 years later, a local doctor is determined to raise the giant bomber intact and give it to a museum. Our team--divers, engineers, and preservationists--takes on the job of moving the 20,000-pound bomber to the surface, while faced with the challenges of working in nearly zero-visibility murky waters and the wrath of an approaching hurricane, plus fear that the plane may be breaking apart!
